Outgoing Visitors Programme (OVP) – Travel Assistance
Indian Council for Cultural Relations
About This Opportunity
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) facilitates visits by Indian performing and visual artists, choreographers, curators, scholars, authors, and academicians to participate in international events, festivals, seminars, conferences, or to deliver lectures. The programme provides a round‑trip economy class airfare from a city in India to the host city abroad, where the participant has been invited by the host organization, institution, or university. Applicants must submit a detailed report after the visit. The grant is intended for cultural exchange and mutual understanding; it does not cover lodging, meals, visa, or local travel. Eligibility requires a valid passport, an invitation from the host, and a recommendation from the concerned Indian Mission or ICCR Zonal Office. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with proposals to be received at least four months before the proposed event.
