Danube Bend Home artist Residency, Hungary

The Danube Bend Home artist Residency offers a unique, home‑based experience 40 km from Budapest in a small studio that also serves as sleeping space. Residents have access to shared kitchen, living room, terrace and garden, and meals are available for a modest price. The host, Bea, may organise one or two workshops in a local cultural space and/or an exhibition, depending on the artist’s practice. The residency lasts between 6 and 10 days, with a minimum stay of 6 nights and a maximum of 10 nights. Applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the desired period. Available windows in 2026 are 22 May–31 May, 23 June–23 July, 15 August–24 August, and 1 September–30 September. Costs are 120 € for 6 nights, 180 € for 10 nights, with additional nights at +20 € each; food is extra (breakfast 4 €, lunch 5 €, dinner 6 €). Residents can use a bike, receive assistance with tools, and enjoy local cultural hubs. The host emphasizes respect for house rules and the community.
