MNN Film Artist Residency

Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN), in partnership with YoungArts, launches its first Film Artist Residency aimed at supporting New York City‑based YoungArts alumni filmmakers. The program runs from June 2026 through November 2026, during which each of the four selected artists will receive dedicated access to MNN’s screening room, production and editing studios, and will be expected to present one workshop, event, or engagement each month. Residents will also submit monthly creative plans and participate in mentorship and peer‑networking sessions. The residency provides a $5,000 project award paid in three installments, as well as opportunities to showcase work through group and solo events at MNN. Applicants must be 18 years or older, be alumni of the YoungArts program, and reside in New York City. The application deadline is Friday, November 6, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Applications are submitted via a Google Form linked on the MNN website, with additional details available through YoungArts Post. No application fee is required. This residency offers a valuable combination of professional resources, financial support, and public exposure for emerging filmmakers.
