The Call Is Now Open for Production Awards 2026

The Production Awards 2026, organized by Culture Resource (Al‑Mawred Al‑Thaqafy), is a yearly grant program that supports young artists and writers under the age of 35 (born between January 1992 and December 2011) from the Arab region, whether residing locally or in the diaspora. The program offers up to 25 grants each year, with five in each discipline: literature, visual arts, music & sound art, performing arts, and cinema. Grants cover the development and production of projects, including exhibitions, installations, performances, recordings, and films, with a maximum duration of 18 months after the agreement signature. Applicants must submit a single project in Arabic, provide required documents, and meet eligibility criteria such as age, origin, and discipline. The application deadline is 19 October 2026, 16:00 Beirut Time, with the open call announced on 17 August 2026. Selected projects receive financial support, a contractual agreement, and reporting obligations. The program does not cover reproduction of previously produced works, websites, workshops, or academic research.
