DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program Residency
European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC) and the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program
About This Opportunity

The DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program, run by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), is a prestigious annual residency that offers approximately twenty fully funded fellowships to internationally established artists. Each fellowship funds a one‑year stay in Berlin and includes a stipend, studio space, accommodation, exhibition opportunities at the daadgalerie, and access to a network of cultural institutions. The program welcomes artists from the visual arts, film, literature, and music & sound disciplines. Age is irrelevant, but artists residing primarily in Germany are excluded unless they have been registered in Germany for less than fifteen months. Applications for the visual arts category are made by nomination only; other fields accept direct applications. The call is recurring with a fixed deadline of 15 December each year.
