About This Opportunity

From mid‑May to early September and November to February, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking (CCP) offers a solo printmaking residency in its Helen Frankenthaler Printmaking Cottage in Norwalk, CT. The program provides a fully equipped studio, on‑site lodging, and staff support for 1–2 week stays. Applicants must be printmakers; emerging and established artists are welcome, but sculptors or painters who have never worked in printmaking are ineligible. The residency is fully funded for the Summer Session (January 1 deadline) and partially funded for the Winter Session (July 1 deadline). The application requires a project proposal (≤500 words), a budget, a brief bio, images, references, and a $35 application fee. The Cottage offers studio equipment, materials, and a kitchenette; meals and travel are not covered. The residency is annual, with two sessions each year, and is open to artists worldwide.
