Narva Art Residency (NART) announces its second edition of the Finno‑Ugric Creative Residency, taking place in Narva, Estonia, from 23 November to 6 December 2026. In collaboration with the Department of Fashion Design of the Estonian Academy of Arts and supported by the Erasmus+ programme, the residency invites artists and creative practitioners who have roots in or strong ties to Finno‑Ugric peoples. Open disciplines include visual art, music, theatre and performance. The selected artist will receive a €170 per‑day Erasmus+ per‑diem (total €1,700) and accommodation at the NART building (€45 per day, total €450), as well as reimbursement of travel costs according to Erasmus+ guidelines. The residency includes a 1.5‑hour open lecture for academy students and two workshops (5 h and 1.5 h) for fashion‑design students. Applicants must submit a project description, production budget and workshop plan via the online form by 10 August 2026. The residency aims to create contemporary works that highlight Finno‑Ugric cultures and foster dialogue with the local community.
