关于此机会

In Ukraine and all around Europe, artists, cultural workers, activists and volunteers continue to support communities living with the consequences of war. They create spaces for connection, work with displaced people and refugees, and help communities navigate uncertainty, loss and change. Much of this work happens quietly and persistently, often while those providing support are themselves dealing with the emotional and psychological impact of displacement, trauma and prolonged instability. The fourth round of Culture Helps Solidarity Individual Grants is now open. The programme offers flexible grants of up to €1,200 to Ukrainian cultural professionals working with displaced people, refugees and other vulnerable communities, including veterans, in Ukraine and across Creative Europe countries. Rather than funding projects, these grants are designed to support the individuals behind the work. Applicants can use the funding for activities that strengthen wellbeing, resilience and mental health, including psychotherapy, counselling, restorative care, wellbeing retreats, cultural participation and other forms of personal support. The aim is simple: to help cultural workers sustain themselves so they can continue supporting others. Culture plays an important role in helping people maintain connection, dignity and hope during times of crisis. By investing directly in the well-being of cultural practitioners, Culture Helps Solidarity recognises that resilience begins with people. The call is open until 29 June 2026. An online information session will take place on 11 June 2026 for prospective applicants interested in learning more about the programme and application process. Culture Helps Solidarity is co-funded by the European Union through the Creative Europe programme and implemented by the European Cultural Foundation, Insha Osvita, zusa and the VETERANKA Movement.
