Sarasvati Creative Space Residency

Spring Pops – April in Tennessee is a seasonal residency program hosted by Camp Wonder Wander at the Sarasvati Creative Space in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Running throughout April 2027, the program welcomes artists of any discipline and career stage to develop work inspired by the surrounding landscape, flora, and natural processes. Participants stay on a 17‑acre homestead, with private bedrooms, shared and private studios, and access to communal kitchens and meals. The residency fee starts at $450 for a one‑week stay and varies with length of stay and lodging choice. A Farm Stay Scholarship can reduce the fee by $150‑$300 in exchange for six hours of weekly land‑care work. Amenities include weekly group meals, forest‑therapy walks, and the opportunity to engage with animals, gardens, and the land. Applicants must be able to disconnect from contemporary society, contribute to daily chores, and may bring spouses, partners, children, or pets under the program’s inclusive policy. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until the deadline of 30 November 2026, with responses within two weeks. The residency emphasizes collaborative, nature‑based practice and offers a supportive, artist‑run environment for creative exploration.
