PASSAGE Artist Development Program 2026

PASSAGE is Redland City Council’s artist development program supporting emerging and established artists to develop new work through mentorship, professional development, and in‑kind venue support. Up to five artists or organisations will be selected for the 2026 edition. Successful participants receive a A$2,000 stipend, access to RPAC studio, events hall, green room and Redland Art Gallery workroom, mentorship from industry professionals, and guidance from the Council’s Creative Arts Unit. Applications are submitted via the Council’s SmartyGrants portal between 3 August 2026 and 31 August 2026. The program runs with mentorship sessions from November 2026 to January 2027 and aims to foster artistic growth, community engagement, and alignment with Redlands Coast cultural priorities.

Open to individual artists at any career stage, groups with lead artists resident in South East Queensland, and organisations with clear benefit to Redlands Coast. Applicants must be Australian permanent residents or citizens, over 18, hold an ABN (or be obtaining one), and be available for all mentorship sessions.
