About This Opportunity

The Traditional Arts and Culture Fund (TACF) is a small grant scheme delivered by TRACS (Traditional Arts & Culture Scotland) and funded by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland. The fund supports artists, community groups and grassroots organisations to create, perform, tour and showcase work, and to develop professional skills and learning opportunities in traditional music, song, storytelling, dance, crafts, customs and indigenous languages. Round 3 of the fund is now open for applications. Grants of up to £1,200 are available; the fund does not support equipment purchases or matching other Creative Scotland funding. Applications are accepted from both organisations and individuals, with no restriction on age, nationality or residency. The application window opens 4 August 2026 and closes 1 September 2026. Applicants must submit an online application form and can download the application guidelines and a sample budget from the TRACS website. Successful applicants will receive a grant to support their project and are required to acknowledge the TACF and TRACS logos in any promotional material.
