Open Juried: Figuring it Out
Woodstock Artists Association & Museum (WAAM)
About This Opportunity
The Woodstock Artists Association & Museum (WAAM) announces its 2026 Open Juried exhibition, “Figuring it Out,” which invites artists to submit works that investigate fresh, compelling representations of the human figure. Artists working in any medium—representational, stylized, abstract, or conceptual—are encouraged to explore the body as a means of expressing identity, emotion, movement, and the broader human experience. Submissions are accepted online from July 20 to August 28, 2026 via a Submittable form. The exhibition will be presented in WAAM’s Main Gallery from October 23 to November 29, 2026. Eligibility is limited to artists who live within a 50‑mile radius of Woodstock, NY. Submission is free for WAAM members; non‑members pay a $35 entry fee. The show will be juried by Randall Harris, founder and director of Figureworks. Selected works will be displayed publicly, providing exposure to the regional art community.
