78th Annual Juried Exhibition & Sale

The Guilford Art League’s 78th Annual Juried Exhibition & Sale invites Connecticut artists aged 18 and older to submit up to two works for consideration. All media are eligible, including oils, watercolour, pastels, acrylic, sculpture, collage, textile, mixed media, printmaking, and photography, with the exception of giclée prints, crafts, and AI‑generated works. Submissions are made online via ShowSubmit and must be wired and ready for hanging; no sawtooth hangers or clips are allowed. The juror, Nancy Whitcher, will select awards from the exhibited works, and winners will be announced at the opening reception. The exhibition runs from September 7 to September 26, 2026, at the Gallery at the Guilford Art Center (411 Church St., Guilford, CT). Accepted works are to be delivered in person on September 6 between 10 am and noon; the gallery will hold them until the show closes. Artists may keep their works for sale, with the Guilford Art League receiving 20% of any proceeds. Entry fees are $30 for the first work and $10 for a second (members pay $20 and $10). The call is open to all Connecticut artists, with no membership required, though membership lowers the fee. The event includes an opening reception on September 13 and a pick‑up of artworks on September 27.
