About This Opportunity

The Nordic–Baltic Mobility Programme – Mobility funding – offers travel and stay support for individual professional artists and cultural practitioners across the Nordic and Baltic countries. The programme aims to strengthen artistic and cultural cooperation by providing access to contacts, expertise, and knowledge within the region. Applicants may use the funding to travel up to 14 days, with a fixed remuneration that covers travel and accommodation costs. The funding is available for professional artists, curators, producers, translators, editors, and researchers, provided they have documented experience in the field. Eligibility requires residency in a Nordic or Baltic country, and the programme is not open to students, groups, or trips within a single country. The application portal is open year‑round, with the next cycle announced in November. The application process includes an online form, a travel calculator, and optional portfolio submission. The programme also offers a supplement for artists with disabilities who need personal assistance.

Applicants must submit an invitation or letter of intent in English, a CV, and may attach a portfolio. The assessment focuses on the potential for cooperation, the quality of the applicant’s work, and the contribution to Nordic–Baltic cultural exchange. Successful projects can start no earlier than eight weeks after the application deadline and must be completed within one year of the funding decision.
