About This Opportunity

The Northwest Arts Center (NAC) at Minot State University is excited to host the 55th Annual “INT’L Paperworks 2027” juried exhibition. Artists from around the world may submit original works in any medium on or of paper, including traditional, experimental, and photographic works. Submissions must have been completed within the last two years and must not have been previously exhibited in an INT’L or Americas 2000 exhibition. Entries are judged by juror Aline Smithson, an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. The exhibition will run from January 14 to February 18, 2027 at the Walter Piehl Gallery, Northwest Arts Center, Minot State University, Minot, ND. Five Merit Awards and one Best of Show award are offered, with a total cash and purchase award pool of $2,500; the Best of Show also includes a future solo exhibition and an invitation to the “Best of the Best” exhibit. Entry fees are $30 for two works and $5 for each additional work (maximum five entries per artist). Accepted artists are responsible for shipping their works; the NAC provides installation support and may offer audio‑visual equipment for time‑based works. No housing or travel support is provided. The call is open to artists worldwide, with the postmark deadline for entries on 20 November 2026.
