About This Opportunity
Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is hosting the 22nd edition of the Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship (BSBI/IACS) in 2026. The program brings together 12 participants from ASEAN countries for approximately 45 days of cultural workshops, Indonesian language classes, heritage site visits, community service, and direct engagement with local communities. The scholarship aims to strengthen people‑to‑people ties, promote cultural diversity, and foster mutual understanding across the region. Applicants must be aged 21‑35, hold ASEAN nationality, be in good health, have no prior participation in BSBI (except virtual editions 2021‑2022), and demonstrate proficiency in English. The program is fully funded by the Indonesian government and will be implemented by Jakarta State University (UNJ).
