Improvisation, Dance and Voice Workshop
Plateforme für deutsch-französische Kunst
About This Opportunity
Improvisation, Dance and Voice Workshop is a week‑long intensive held from 17 to 24 September 2026 in Colmar, France, as part of the Colmar Jazz Festival. The program brings together young performing artists from Germany and France, aged under 35, to explore dance improvisation, instant composition, voice and sound under the guidance of choreographer Julia Klockow and musician Louise Garance Wetterwald. Each day is split into three hours of dance and three hours of voice workshops, with sessions translated into German and French so language is not a barrier. Participants will also attend concerts of the Jazz OFF and Colmar Jazz Festival and present their work in a public sharing at the end of the week. The workshop includes half‑board accommodation, festival tickets, and a pro‑rated reimbursement of travel costs. Applications are accepted until 6 September 2026 and require an artistic CV and a short motivation letter sent to info@plateforme-plattform.org.
