Hatch Embroidery Appliqué Challenge

The Hatch Embroidery Appliqué Challenge is an open, community‑driven event that invites embroiderers of all skill levels to interpret a provided fish artwork file into their own appliqué design. Participants download the artwork, create their own version using Hatch Embroidery software, and submit a photo of the finished piece for consideration in the Stitch Club showcase. The challenge is not a competition and offers no prizes; instead, selected designs may be featured on the Hatch Embroidery website, blog, and social media channels. The event is open to everyone—no age, nationality, or residency restrictions apply. While there is no formal deadline, the challenge is ongoing, with a live showcase event scheduled for 25 June 2026. Participants are encouraged to complete the optional Advanced Appliqué Essentials course to deepen their skills, though it is not required. Submission terms emphasize that all work must be original and that participants grant Hatch Embroidery a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free licence to use submitted images for marketing purposes.
