Eyebeam Agency Residency (Virtual & NYC) 2026‑2027
Eyebeam
About This Opportunity
Eyebeam’s Agency Residency program seeks artists to investigate questions of agency in the age of AI. Two tracks are offered: a 12‑week Virtual Residency (Fall 2026) for US‑based artists outside New York City, and a Spring 2027 in‑person residency in New York City. Both tracks provide a stipend ($2,000 for the virtual track, $5,000 for the NYC track), weekly cohort sessions, mentorship from Eyebeam alumni and visiting professionals, technical consultation, and the opportunity to contribute to an end‑of‑year publication. Applications opened on September 21 2026 and close on October 11 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Applicants must apply as individuals, cannot be enrolled full‑time in a degree program, and must not be committed to another residency during the term. The virtual track requires US‑based artists (outside NYC) to work remotely; the NYC track requires residence in the five boroughs and on‑site attendance at least one day per week. No application fee is required; submissions are made via Submittable. Selected residents will receive mentorship, access to Eyebeam’s tools and network, and a stipend to support project development.
