Call For Emerging Artists — New Futures at The Other Art Fair Chicago

The Other Art Fair Chicago is excited to announce that applications are now open for the New Futures Program, which will take place from December 17 to December 20, 2026 at Artifact Events. Designed to support first‑time exhibiting artists, the program removes traditional barriers to entry in the contemporary art world. Selected artists receive a free exhibition space at The Other Art Fair, along with professional mentorship, exclusive career development opportunities, and ongoing guidance. Participants also gain visibility among thousands of art lovers, collectors, curators, and press, helping to grow their collector base beyond Chicago. Applications are completely free, but applicants must be residents of Chicago and work within the visual arts discipline. The deadline for submissions is August 16, 2026.
