ArtsNB Artist in Residence Program (Canada)

The ArtsNB Artist in Residence Program is a provincial funding initiative that supports professional artists and host organisations through structured residency opportunities. Artists receive up to CAD 10,000 to cover costs related to a residency, which can take place in New Brunswick, elsewhere in Canada, abroad, or in Quebec through an agreement with the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. The program aims to foster artistic creation, professional development, mentorship, networking and community engagement. Eligible applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or members of First Nations, have lived in New Brunswick for at least 12 months, and meet ArtsNB’s definition of a professional artist. Applications are submitted online, and the next deadline is 01 September 2026. The call is recurring, with three annual rounds per year.
