AAH 2027 Call for Papers

The Association for Art History (AAH) invites scholars, researchers and creative professionals to submit papers for its 2027 Annual Conference, scheduled for 7‑9 April 2027 at the University of Exeter. The conference welcomes all members and non‑members of AAH, with no restrictions on discipline, career stage or nationality. Submissions should be a concise abstract (max 250 words) and a title (max 20 words). The submission deadline is 23:59 UK time on Sunday, 25 October 2026. Papers are submitted via the Oxford Abstracts platform (link provided) and will be reviewed by session convenors. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference, offering opportunities for networking and potential publication. Speakers, session convenors and delegates must purchase conference tickets, which will be available in December 2026. Early‑bird tickets and limited bursaries for doctoral and early‑career researchers are available. The conference does not provide housing or travel support, but offers a platform for scholarly exchange and professional development.
