About This Opportunity
The Fitzwilliam Museum, the principal museum of the University of Cambridge, invites applications for a De Ying Research Associate and Curator to support its contemporary art programme. The role is full‑time, fixed‑term for three years, with a salary range of £37,694–£46,049 per annum and benefits including a pension scheme, enhanced family leave, substantial holiday allowance and other employee perks. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and possess curatorial expertise in contemporary art, a collaborative and creative approach, and a willingness to bring new perspectives to the collection. The position involves curating exhibitions, conducting research, liaising with artists and stakeholders, drafting interpretive texts, and contributing to wider research and partnership activities across the museum and university.
