2027 Artist Residency Open Call at The Factory

The Factory on Willow in Manchester, NH offers a 12-week Artist in Residence (AIR) program designed to support emerging artists from around the world. The residency provides a place to live for up to 3 months, allowing selected artists to focus full-time on developing their creative practice and taking steps toward becoming career professionals. The program aims to host up to 6 artists annually. Selected residents receive stipends covering room & board, food, and art supplies. Each residency concludes with an artist opening celebration, which serves as a solo or duo exhibition featuring the artist's developing works in the Factory's onsite event space, presenting installations and presentations to the local community. The Factory's AIR program emphasizes creative freedom, allowing artists to discover, define, and refine their practice in a supportive environment. The program is designed for emerging artists looking to cross the bridge into professional careers. Applications are submitted through the Factory's website.
