About This Opportunity

The Fiber Artists of San Antonio (FASA) is calling for entries to its 2026 Annual Juried Exhibition, titled Viriditas: Flourishing Life Energy. The exhibition, themed around vitality, renewal, and the creative energy that connects humanity to the natural world, will be held at the Semmes Gallery of the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas, from November 9 to December 11, 2026. Artists living and working in the continental United States who work in fiber and textile media—including weaving, quilting, embroidery, felting, basketry, mixed‑media textile work, and experimental fiber processes—are invited to submit 1–3 pieces (maximum 3 entries per artist). The juried exhibition will be judged by internationally recognized fiber artist Jane Dunnewold. Selected works will be exhibited, and over $1,200 in cash prizes will be awarded at the opening reception. The entry fee is $50 (or $40 for FASA members). Submission guidelines, eligibility requirements, and application instructions are available through the EntryThingy platform. The call opens July 1, 2026 and closes August 31, 2026.
