The Global Food Artist Residency, hosted by the Global Gastronomy Museum in Shanghai, invites chefs, food artists, food designers, food researchers, food writers, culinary culture creators and cross‑disciplinary artists from around the world to a one‑month residency starting in October 2026. Residents receive round‑trip international airfare, accommodation, daily meals, a dedicated studio and kitchen space, production and material support, curatorial guidance and opportunities to present their work through exhibitions and public programmes. Participants must engage in museum activities at least four days per week, while the remaining time is free for creation, research and cultural exchange. The programme runs within an 80‑day exhibition cycle, with creators rotating throughout the season, fostering continuous public engagement with food as an artistic medium.

Open to international applicants; no specific age, nationality or career‑stage restrictions. Applicants must be chefs, food artists, designers, researchers, writers or cross‑disciplinary creators.
