The Misk Art Institute, in partnership with the Montresso Art Foundation, offers a fully funded two‑month international artist residency at the Jardin Rouge art space in Marrakech, Morocco. Designed for mid‑career contemporary Saudi visual artists, the program provides a Saudi artist with round‑trip airfare, private studio space, accommodation, local transportation, daily meals, a production budget, a per‑diem allowance, and artistic/technical mentorship. Participants will also have networking opportunities with Moroccan and international art communities and the chance to exhibit their work at the 1‑54 Contemporary African Art Fair in Marrakech in 2027. The residency runs between 1 September and 31 December 2026; the selected artist may choose any consecutive two‑month period within this window. Applications are open to Saudi artists aged 18‑60 who are full‑time professional visual artists with at least three years of fine‑arts experience and exhibition history. The program language is English. The residency aims to foster cultural exchange, research, and production, and includes a collaborative exchange where one Moroccan artist will be hosted in Riyadh.
