The conference aims to re‑imagine the US South through speculative representation, drawing on science‑fiction and fantasy artforms, digital culture, economic speculation, and more. Applicants may submit individual papers (300‑word abstract, 100‑word bio), panel proposals (500‑word introduction plus abstracts and bios for each presenter), or roundtable/work‑in‑progress sessions (same format).
