The Pastelmat and Pastelgrain Competition 2026, organised by Clairefontaine Fine Arts in partnership with S&S Wholesale, is an international Instagram‑based contest running from 17 September to 26 October 2026. Artists aged 18 or over must create an original soft‑pastel artwork that reflects the theme “Cozy Moments”, post it on a public Instagram account, and tag @Clairefontaine_Finearts, @Pastelmat_Clairefontaine and the official hashtag #PastelmatPastelgrainContest26, including the artwork’s dimensions in the caption. No AI‑generated works are accepted and only Clairefontaine or Blockx branded products may appear in the image. The competition offers €3,700 in travel vouchers and art supplies across 13 winners: the top three receive travel vouchers (€2,000, €1,000, €700) plus €150 in supplies each, while ten additional winners receive €100 worth of supplies. Bonus points are awarded for using Pastelgrain paper, displaying the Pastelmat or Pastelgrain pad, using Blockx pastels, or submitting multiple entries.
