Bundanon Trust, an art museum and cultural organisation situated on 1,000 hectares in Illaroo, New South Wales, seeks an Artist Residency Program Officer. Reporting to the Head of Curatorial & Learning, the officer will manage the day‑to‑day operations of Bundanon’s Artist in Residence (AIR) program, including artist communications, scheduling, studio set‑up, and logistical support. Responsibilities also cover maintaining residency records, overseeing budgets and invoices, facilitating program evaluation, and promoting the residency through marketing channels. The role involves developing outreach initiatives, managing the application process, coordinating peer‑review panels, and fostering partnerships with external collaborators. Candidates must hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in arts administration, possess strong organisational and communication skills, and demonstrate experience working respectfully with First Nations artists and communities. The position offers a salary of $95,000 AUD per annum plus 12 % superannuation, full‑time permanent employment, and the opportunity to contribute to Australia’s largest artist residency program.
