Wyndham City Council is seeking a First Nations Creative Arts Officer to lead the delivery of its First Nations creative arts programs and projects. The role is based in Werribee with a hybrid work arrangement and is a full‑time, permanent position (Band 6 salary $104,133.36 per annum plus superannuation and a fortnightly RDO). Responsibilities include coordinating programs, building relationships with First Nations artists and communities, supporting artists through networking, mentoring, commissions and development opportunities, and contributing First Nations perspectives to council arts, events, visual arts and public art programmes. The position requires relevant qualifications or substantial experience in arts, curation or events, strong project management and curatorial experience, and lived experience of First Nations self‑determination principles. It is an identified position open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants. Applications close on 25 October 2026.
