Workspacebrussels:Residency Programme 2026 in the Performing Arts (Belgium)

Workspacebrussels is calling for applications for their residency programme, which is aimed at Belgian and international artists working within the performing arts in the broad sense of the word (dance, performance, theatre, crossovers with other disciplines). They support both research, experimentation and creation. A residency lasts between 1 and 3 weeks. Sometimes several residencies are possible per project. This round accepts projects for the period between August and December 2026 (selection announcement: end of January 2026). If artists wish, they can share their research, practice or work with the team and/or fellow residents at the end of the residency. This can also take the form of a (semi)public try-out. On Tuesdays, all residents working in the studios at that time are invited for a communal lunch. The residency offers: Studio space, technical equipment, overnight accommodation (for foreign artists or team members, possibilities depend on availability in the guesthouse and a baby cot is available), a flat fee of 750 EUR (VAT included) per selected project for travel expenses and lunch.
