Visual and Sound Artist Residency

The International Visegrad Fund invites artists from the Visegrad Group (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) to apply for the Visual and Sound Artist Residency. Open to V4 citizens aged 18 or over, the residency supports creators working in Visual Arts (including performance, textile, architecture), Design (fashion, costume, jewellery, ceramics, furniture, visual communication), Music/Sound (interpretation, sound installation, performance, composition) and Video/Film/New Media/Mixed Media. The residency lasts two months and can be undertaken in any V4 country other than the applicant’s country of citizenship or residence, with a flexible schedule between January 10 and December 31. Each project receives a total grant of €6,000 (€3,000 for the resident and €3,000 for the host organisation). Applications open on 15 September 2026 and must be submitted by 15 October 2026 via the My Visegrad online system. Required documents include proof of identity, an artistic portfolio, and a preliminary host‑organisation confirmation.
