Verrocchio Arts Centre Residency

The Verrocchio Arts Centre, located in the hilltop village of Casole d’Elsa near Siena, is an artists’ community that provides a range of facilities for painters and sculptors. The centre offers three large painting studios, an indoor sculpture studio, a sculpture terrace, six en‑suite rooms, shared kitchens, an art library and a terrace with scenic views. Accommodation is available in rooms or apartments, and the centre also offers the possibility of work‑exchange arrangements. The residency is open to individual artists and groups (groups of at least six, up to fifteen) and runs during the off‑season from the end of October to mid‑March. Stays are flexible, with a minimum of three weeks and the option to extend for months or longer. While no fixed outcomes are required, exhibitions and private viewings can be organised once a body of work has been produced. The programme is open for applications on a rolling basis, with no fixed deadline, and applicants are encouraged to contact the centre directly to discuss dates and availability.
