About This Opportunity

The UR4Africa Project Exchange & Residency Program is a Pan‑African residency designed for individuals of African descent—whether from the diaspora or the continent—who work as creatives, educators, researchers, organizers or cultural workers. Residents stay between 1 and 8 weeks (flexible) in Nigeria, participating in community‑based projects, workshops, research, and creative documentation while receiving mentorship from UR4Africa staff and local partners. The program covers food, power, internet, and coordination support, and the daily residency fee of USD $12 includes flights, visa fees and local transportation. Applicants submit an online form, undergo a short interview, and must confirm payment within one week to secure a spot. UR4Africa also provides letters of support for residents seeking external funding.
