Trusler Gallery Exhibition Application

The Emporia Arts Center’s Trusler Gallery, one of Kansas’ premier fine‑art galleries, offers exhibition opportunities to emerging and established artists whose work demonstrates high artistic quality. Artists may submit a proposal, portfolio images (minimum ten), a recent exhibition list, an artist statement, and any special needs. Applications are accepted by mail or in person throughout the year, and are reviewed periodically with the goal of scheduling a full calendar year of shows. The gallery provides a professional exhibition space, promotional support (social media, press release, show cards), and handles sales, paying artists 60% of sold items after a 40% commission. Artists are responsible for transporting and installing their work and are expected to be present for the opening reception. No membership is required and the call is open to all artists.
