Three‑month residencies for visual artists

The Centre for Artists in Residence at Matadero Madrid announces a three‑month residency programme aimed at visual artists residing in the Community of Madrid (Spain). Selected artists will receive a dedicated studio workspace, a financial grant to support production costs, professional monitoring by an advisory team (curator Bea Espejo and artist Antonio Ballester Moreno), and institutional backing that includes visibility through Matadero’s exhibition spaces and networks. The residency is designed to foster professional development and encourage collaboration within the regional art scene. Applications are accepted until 15 October 2026. No application fee is required.
