About This Opportunity

The Studio Letter, a free weekly magazine for student and emerging artists in India, invites visual artists to submit up to eight works for consideration. The open call is rolling with no closing date and is open to visual artists anywhere in India, including art school students, artists in their first years out of school, and anyone creating serious work without institutional support. Submissions are anonymous; a panel of practising artists reviews the work and, if selected, the artist is contacted to develop an article that will be published in the magazine. Accepted works are granted a limited, non‑exclusive licence for publication, allowing artists to continue selling, showing, and licensing the pieces elsewhere. There is no entry fee, and the call offers exposure through publication in a widely‑read art magazine.
