About This Opportunity
The Hotel Willa Artist‑in‑Residence Program, managed by The Paseo Project, invites artists of all disciplines to apply for a four‑week residency in Taos, New Mexico during the months of February, March, April, July, August, October, November and December 2027. Residents receive a private one‑bedroom suite with a kitchenette, a dedicated on‑site studio equipped with work surfaces, easel, sink and lighting, as well as a bicycle and discounts at the hotel restaurant. The residency is self‑directed, with optional public programming such as an artist talk or open studio. Eligibility is limited to artists, makers, writers and creatives who live or work in the Four Corners region or within a 300‑mile radius of Taos, and it excludes residents of Taos County. No stipend is provided; artists cover travel, materials and meals, though restaurant vouchers are offered. The program is ADA‑accessible and supports artists at any career stage. Applications are accepted online with a $25 entry fee, and the deadline is 30 September 2026 (11:59 p.m. MDT).
