TABOR – the Artist Book Online Residency 2027
TABOR Residency
About This Opportunity
TABOR – the Artist Book Online Residency 2027 is a twelve‑month, fully online programme that brings together eight book artists from diverse backgrounds. Residents meet weekly for social gatherings, peer‑support sessions and skill‑exchange workshops covering topics such as photography, bookbinding, curation, funding and social media. The residency is designed to fit around existing commitments and does not require time away from work or personal responsibilities. Throughout the year participants co‑organise a joint online exhibition and associated public programme, and may also present local physical exhibitions. Residents receive a fee of £300 for producing a new work for the final exhibition and an average £150 for delivering an outreach activity, with additional reimbursements for materials and postage. Applicants must be 18 or older, reside in the United Kingdom, have a stable internet connection, camera and microphone, be comfortable on camera, and be able to attend Thursday evening meetings (7 pm UK time). A minimum portfolio of two book‑art pieces is required. The programme aims to foster a supportive peer network, professional development and increased visibility for book artists.
