Summer 2026 Artist Residencies
Dance Base
About This Opportunity
Dance Base, Scotland’s National Centre for Dance, runs a rolling series of paid artist residencies each term. The Summer 2026 Residency Programme offers professional dance artists studio space, facilities, and funding to develop their practice and share work with peers and the public. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. The programme guarantees at least one residency for an artist identifying as Black, Indigenous, or People of Colour and one for an artist identifying as d/Deaf or Disabled. Each residency runs for a short term (typically 1‑2 weeks) with specific dates listed for individual artists.
