The Künstlerdorf Schöppingen values collegial advice and the exchange of knowledge. If you can imagine making a contribution to the temporary community of fellows, please briefly describe it here. Contributions can include joint activities, workshops or presentations. B. The program of the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen includes regular public events to enable insights and personal exchange between fellows and the local and regional environment. If you can imagine making a contribution as part of a public event, please briefly describe it here. Entries may include activities, workshops or presentations. C. Please explain in a maximum of three sentences your need or motivation for participating in the residency program (this may include financial support, working in a creative environment, a special emergency situation, etc.) In order to apply please upload the following documents (only as one PDF document, max.20MB, in German or English) The PDF must contain: 1. artist statement (max. 1/2 A4 page) 2. short biography (max. 1/2 A4 page) If applying as a collective per member. 3. project for the residency grant (max. 3 A4 pages): Please refer as specifically as possible to the Künstlerdorf with its infrastructure and its surroundings (if relevant). It is important for the jury to see to what extent you have dealt with the place and its potentials. Even if derivations from the original plan are allowed, it should be clear here which ideas and expectations are directed towards the Künstlerdorf. 4. CV (curriculum vitae in tabular form / max. 3 A4 pages) When applying as a collective per member with max. 1 DIN-A4 page each. 5. Portfolio with previous works / text samples / scores (Visual Arts and Literature: max. 15 pages, Composition: max. 2-3 works) If you want to show audiovisual works, like videos or sounds, please list them in the pdf file and link them to an online platform (YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, etc.). Please only include links if the reference represents added value (e.g. podcasts, productions, digital formats, videos), otherwise include original texts, visual material, scores, etc.. Please do not use links to platforms for which membership is required or for which a usage fee is charged. Please consider the above mentioned requirements, otherwise the application may be rejected for formal reasons. Previous Residence I have already obtained a fellowship at the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen If so, please describe how your suggested project is based on your last stay. Options For accommodation with partner / family: number of persons Please provide details of your preferred accommodation (up to three bedrooms are available) Accommodation with family I agree to the data protection regulations of the Künstlerdorf Schöppingen Foundation. Application Fellowship 2026 The 2025 application process is closed and we are currently sifting through all the submissions. Fellowships for 2026 will be announced in December. Applications for 2027 can be submitted from June 27 to August 31, 2026. The application portal will be open during this period..
