S/S 2027 Dance Ireland Residencies
Dance Ireland
About This Opportunity
The Dance Ireland Residency Programme supports dance artists in developing new work, conducting artistic research, and maintaining a studio practice. Applications are open for the Spring/Summer 2027 edition, with residencies taking place between January and July 2027 at DanceHouse, Dublin. Selected artists receive fully subsidised studio space and a €750 stipend per week. Additional €750 bursaries are available for artists living more than 100 km from Dublin to cover travel or accommodation, and a separate €750 bursary plus an access budget is offered to disabled Irish or Ireland‑based artists. Residencies are scheduled in one‑week blocks (Monday‑Friday) with multiple dates listed; applicants may request alternative weeks. Eligibility requires professional membership of Dance Ireland, except for the Disabled Dance Artist Residency, which is open to all Irish or Ireland‑based artists. Applications are submitted via an online form by Monday 9 November 2026, 12 noon. Support is provided for video/audio submissions and additional access needs. The programme is recurring, with new editions announced annually.
