About This Opportunity

Season of Wonder is a holiday‑season exhibition hosted by the San Antonio Art League + Museum (SAALM) that runs from November 22 to December 18, 2026. The all‑media show invites SAALM members to present original artworks that inspire delight, reflection, curiosity and joy. All media are welcome – painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, ceramics, fiber, glass, mixed media and wearable art – provided they meet size limits (max 24" x 30" for 2D works, 18" x 18" x 18" and 25 lb for 3D works). Artists may submit up to three pieces for a non‑refundable $25 entry fee per artist. Submissions are accepted online via ArtCall from August 17, 2026 until the deadline on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Eligible participants must be current SAALM members; non‑members are invited to join the organization to apply. Works must be original, completed after December 1 2024, not previously exhibited by SAALM, and not created as part of a class or workshop. All works must be priced (suggested cap $1,000) and will be sold on commission, with the museum retaining 40 % and the artist receiving 60 % of sales. Accepted works are to be delivered on November 14‑15 and may be picked up after the show on December 19‑20. The exhibition offers exposure to collectors and the opportunity to sell works, as well as inclusion in the museum’s holiday programming.
