Open Call for Articles: Rvuli

Open Call for Articles: Rvuli invites writers, critics, curators, and anyone interested in critical writing to submit essays, case studies, reviews, interviews, and theoretical texts on independent art spaces and the critique of art criticism in Georgia. Submissions should be at least 1800 characters and include a short biography (max 200 words). Eight articles will be selected and published in Rvuli, a bilingual (Georgian/English) online magazine hosted on aica.ge. Contributors will receive honoraria. The call also offers two free webinars in September to discuss censorship, freedom of expression, and the cultural‑political situation in Georgia. The submission deadline is October 15 2026. The project is a collaboration between AICA Georgia and AICA Germany, aiming to document and foster critical discourse on independent art institutions in Georgia.
