Burnt Sienna Berlin Artist Residency & Mentoring Programme
Burnt Sienna Berlin
About This Opportunity
Burnt Sienna Berlin is an independent painting school, studio and exhibition space that offers a one‑month artist residency for painters and visual artists. The program is designed for artists who want to concentrate on developing their practice while becoming part of the wider Burnt Sienna community. Residents receive dedicated studio space with 24‑hour access, one‑on‑one tutorials, group critiques, open studio events, an art library and mentorship. The residency emphasizes process‑driven development, material exploration and critical dialogue rather than the production of finished work. It is open to artists of all career stages—emerging, established or returning to practice—and welcomes applicants based in Germany or internationally. The application fee is €450, payable upon acceptance. The deadline for the current cycle is 31 August 2026. The residency does not provide housing or travel support, but offers a supportive environment for experimentation and artistic growth.
