PONYA: Artist Residency is a 2.5‑month, fall/winter program hosted by Ankole Inc. in Brooklyn, NY. The residency runs from September 16 to November 30, 2026, with two cohorts of six artists each meeting Wednesdays or Saturdays for 12 sessions. Participants receive training in aerial dance techniques—such as hoop, silks, hammock, and pole—taught by BIPOC queer instructors, alongside energy‑healing modalities including aromatherapy, Reiki, and yoga. The program emphasizes community, mutual support, and personal growth, featuring group discussions, constructive feedback, and active listening.
