Patchwork
Kinhouse Gallery
About This Opportunity
Patchwork is a juried exhibition hosted by Kinhouse Gallery in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that invites artists to respond to the spirit of quilts and patchwork through any medium. Artists may interpret quilts literally, as a technique (piecing, appliqué, stitching), or as a visual language of grids, patterns, and repetition. All finished works are accepted; works in progress are not permitted. The call is open to artists from the United States and Canada only. Submissions are evaluated by a panel of curators and selected artists will receive a $20 shipping stipend to offset transportation costs and will be featured in a published Patchwork Catalog. The exhibition runs from October 2 to October 30, 2026, with a reception on the opening night, and will be part of the Arts This Way Broadway Arts Festival. Selected artists will also receive a 20 % commission on any sales made during the show. The application fee is $12 per entry, non‑refundable, and applicants may submit up to three images per work. Artists are responsible for shipping their works to the gallery by September 25, 2026. The exhibition offers a physical gallery space, a catalog, and a commission structure, making it an attractive opportunity for artists working with textile, mixed media, or any other medium that engages pattern, texture, and the handmade.
