About This Opportunity

The Blinken OSA Archivum invites applications for the Visegrad Scholarship at OSA, a joint grant scheme of the International Visegrad Fund and the Archivum. The 2026/2027 call (deadline 11:59 PM, 10 November 2026) provides a €3,000 grant covering travel, accommodation and living costs for an eight‑week research stay (shorter stays are pro‑rated). Recipients gain full access to the Archivum’s Cold War and post‑Cold War collections, reference services, introductory information sessions, mentorship from designated advisors, and participation in the Visegrad Lecture Series where fellows present their findings. The scholarship is open to individuals holding an MA in the social sciences or humanities, with a special invitation to socially engaged artists, journalists, scholars at risk and refugees of conscience. No citizenship restriction applies, but previous Visegrad Scholarship recipients and Central European University employees are ineligible. Applications consist of a merged PDF (cover letter, research plan, CV, two referees) submitted via the online form. The grant is paid in two installments (75 % before the stay, 25 % after the final presentation).
