About This Opportunity

The Supporting Act Foundation is launching its fifth annual open call for grants, offering 10 unrestricted grants of €10,000 each to emerging artists from underrepresented groups. The grants target artists whose practices involve collaborative, collective, or community‑benefiting processes, and are open to those with 2–10 years of professional experience living in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, or the UK. Applications open on September 1 and close on October 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM CET. The foundation emphasizes that the unrestricted funding will provide artists with the time, freedom, and structure to focus on creative development and improve living conditions. The selection process is conducted by independent committees of artists, curators, and organizers, ensuring a fair and inclusive review. The program aims to support artists’ growth and foster equitable art scenes across Europe.
